We’ve had a good week here at Potty Adventures HQ. A few weeks back one of our readers asked us whether we’d be able to organise a wheelchair friendly walk as one of our monthly family-friendly group hikes. We were more than happy to oblige. So, after researching various destinations and routes, we settled on Llyn Brenig, a large reservoir in North Wales.
The wide, non-technical paths and gates, plus a lack of stiles along the route, made Llyn Brenig a great choice. But, to make sure it was accessible we swapped a child carrier for a buggy and completed the walk. The sky may have been grey and cloudy but we had a lovely day. At 9.5 miles/15.3km long, the route will provide challenge despite its lack of hills or rocky terrain. I’m hoping that if there’s enough interest we can now organise regular accessible walks throughout the year.
As such, my favourite memory from our personal family collection this week is this video from our recent buggy walk around Llyn Brenig…
Four Featured Favourites
Right, back to your community photos and we (as always) have an awesome collection for you. First up we have @topsyturvytribe in Zagra, Spain. Not only does dad look like some sort of movie star but the location is deserving of a place in a film too. The two kids must be having an awesome time. Oh, and that monkey bag is pretty cute!

The second of our featured favourites was tagged by @wanderlust.crew. Now, these guys are no strangers to epic scenery (just check out their account!) but what a beautiful destination this is. The Chateau de la Roche Courbon has just been added to my growing list of ‘must-see’ places!

The next of our featured favourites was taken by @familyoffduty. Captured at the Szechenyi thermal bath in Budapest, it certainly looks like a great place to relax and unwind.

The last of our featured favourites was tagged by @laurynkoppes. Taken in Matthews/Winters Park, Colorado, I love how mesmerised their little one is smashing ice with a stick.
