#pottyadventures Instagram Community: Week 26

Welcome back to our weekly #pottyadventures Instagram community roundup.  There was no roundup last we as we were away camping over the bank holiday weekend.  With no WiFi or phone signal it was bliss!  As ever, this is the place to get your fix of outdoor family fun and find other inspirational families to follow.  Check out our featured accounts as they’re all full of destination and activity ideas to enthuse your adventurous side.  If they look like your kind of family, give them a follow.   As always, all you have to do is include the hashtag #pottyadventures on your Instagram photos for a chance to be featured.

We’ve had a mixed week here at Potty Adventures HQ.  After two weeks off over the Easter period and clocking up some serious miles towards my #walk1000miles in 2017 challenge, I’m now out of action.  As a result of a virus the cartilage around my ribs have become inflamed and swollen and have been causing me a fair bit of pain and discomfort.  Not only that but I can’t really lift anything either so I currently have the strength of a 6 year old.   All in all, it’s pretty frustrating.  That said, it didn’t stop Nat and the kids from get outside so my favourite photo from our personal collection this week is this one of Nat crossing the stream in our local woodland…

On a more positive note our first #adventurecalling linky was a huge success with 27 outdoor-related posts shared with myself and my co-host, Lauren from The Helpful Hiker.  We had such an array of ideas, destinations and activities that we really struggled to pick our favourites.  All will be revealed on Wednesday though when the second link up goes live over on Lauren’s site.

Four Featured Favourites

Back to the #pottyadventures community and, as ever, we have an awesome collection of images.    The first of our featured favourites this week was tagged by @openroad.mummy.  Taken in the remarkable Sandbanks Provincial Park, Canada, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s simply stunning.

The second of our featured favourites was tagged by @mamanonthetrail.  Taken in Frontenac Provincial Park, Canada, this is certainly the life.  Hammock?  Check.  Awesome scenery?  Check.  Precious family time?  You bet!

Third up we have the brilliant @familyoffduty.  I’m regularly bowled over by their Instagram photos and this is no exception.  Captured at Myrtiotissa beach in Corfu, this make me yearn for family summer holidays.

From one beach to another, this time in Oregan, USA, this one goes to show that even on a dull day, your natural surroundings can still be beautiful.  Thanks to the awesome @travelmums for tagging us in this one.
