Welcome to our #pottyadventures Instagram community roundup week 56. This is the place to get your fix of outdoor family fun and find other inspirational families to follow. Do check out our featured accounts as they’re packed full of bucket list destinations and great activity ideas. If they look like your kind of family, give them a follow. As always, all you have to do is include the hashtag #pottyadventures on your Instagram photos for a chance to be featured.
We’ve been deliberately quiet on the blog front during the festive period, making the most of our time off together. Having two whole weeks together as a family is not to be sniffed at, so let me first wish you all a very happy New Year. May 2018 be filled with adventures, love and good health.
Although most of me wasn’t desperately eager to return to work today, my waistline certainly was. To say I’ve over-indulged during the festive period would be an understatement. Wine, cheese and chocolates have a lot to answer for! However, we have still managed to (in between copious amounts of eating) get outside most days, which has been brilliant. In fact, we decided to bring our holiday period to a close in style last night by going for a sunset hike…and what a sunset we had! As such, my favourite image from our personal collection this week is this beauty from last night’s hike…
Four Featured Favourites
Back to the #pottyadventures Instagram community roundup and, as ever, we have an awesome collection of images. The first of our featured favourites was hashtagged by @wanderlust.crew who posted this amazing shot all the way from Stanley, Idaho. We have some stunning lakes to canoe on here in North Wales but this looks spectacular! Huge thanks for sharing it with us.
Next up we have @familywanderers with this mega water leap from Rangitoto Island, New Zealand. I love the timing of this capture and adore the way their little adventurer is flinging himself through the air.
The third of our featured favourites is all the way from the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens in Australia. The brilliant @smithsholidayroad crew hashtagged us in this beautiful photo. They loved the area for its wide open spaces, which were perfect for exploring during the school holidays.
The last of our featured favourites this week was hashtagged by @mrsmeljones in Ellesmere, UK. This isn’t a million miles from our home so we’ve definitely added it to our places for a day out during 2018. Hopefully we’ll get a clear sky and low sun too.
Four More To Make You Smile
As always, we’re tagged in so many cool outdoor family photos that it would be a crime not to share a few more. So, in addition to our four featured favourites, here are four more to make you smile. Enjoy.
