Consequently, this really is the place to vanquish your Monday blues and get your fix of outdoor family fun.  Another benefit is that you’ll find a great bunch of other like-minded and inspirational families to follow on Instagram. So, do check out our featured accounts as they’re always packed with bucket list destinations and great activity ideas.  As always, all you have to do is include the hashtag #pottyadventures on your Instagram photos for a chance to be featured.

We’ve had a very good week here at Potty Adventures HQ.  As well as beginning the early preparation for my first ultra-marathon, we’ve been busy planning other big outdoor challenges for us to tackle this year.  In fact, we’ve got two other big things that we’ll be announcing over the next few weeks.  In terms of my early ultra-marathon training, I clocked up some good solid runs over the last seven days and now feel very comfortable running 8 miles.  Only another 54 miles to go haha!

Yesterday, Nat was busy at her sister’s baby shower so me and the kids packed the car and headed out for some outdoor fun.  I’m always a tad nervous taking both of them anywhere on my own (they are both pretty wild from time-to-time haha), but we had an amazing day.  We walked 4.5 miles up to the beautiful Aber Falls waterfall, with Jesse walking the entire trail without even a hint of a whinge or moan.  Even Amelie toddled her way all the way back clocking up over 2 miles of her own.  They really do amaze me constantly.  Here’s what our day looked like…

Four Featured Favourites

Back to the #pottyadventures Instagram community roundup and, as ever, we have an awesome collection of images. The first of our featured favourites was hashtagged by @travelynnfamily.  Taken in wonderful Nepal, this has got to be the ultimate way to travel.

Next up we have @_i3eckie with a very proud first time skier.  Apparently, he loved doing the ‘pizza slice’, as he called it.  It’s great to see them on the slopes from a young age.

The third of our featured favourites was hashtagged by @brookerampton.  Captured in beautiful New Zealand, this face surely demonstrates why we should all get outside with our kids as often as possible.

The final of our featured favourites this week is @itsajameslife.  This is definitely the way to celebrate reaching a snowy trig point.

Four More To Make You Smile

As always, we’re tagged in so many cool outdoor family photos that it would be a crime not to share a few more. So, in addition to our four featured favourites, here are four more to make you smile. Enjoy.
